NOT SIMPLE HDMI PLUG & PLAY
Just hooked up the Samsung UN26C4000 TV in my daughter's room. I was surprised there was no sound using the HDMI video source. It took me some time to discover you need a separate A/V cable if you want sound, (one of those old-style, multi plug cables). Maybe I should have known that? But I am used to TV's that require only the HDMI cable to work. The HDMI picture looks fine given the resolution, but I am not happy to be going A/V cable shopping.
